The Testimonial Narrative of the Researcher, between Psychoanalysis, Phenomenology and Literature

This article proposes a reflection on the scientific value of the researcher’s testimonial writing. Through a complementarist approach between psychoanalysis and phenomenology, it will question the methodological and epistemological relevance of the adoption of a literary “style” by the researcher. In spite of an irreducible fictional dimension, we argue that such a process can allow the sharing of an experience, notably a traumatic one, which can then constitute research data.
