Reseña de Au bord des mondes, vers une anthropologie métaphysique de Mohamed Amer Meziane

Can the anthropology of nature help us escape the theoretical-imperial world? This article aims to present the response provided by philosopher Mohamed Amer Meziane in his second work, Au bord des mondes, vers une anthropologie métaphysique [At the Edge of Worlds, Toward a Metaphysical Anthropology], published by Éditions Vues de l’Esprit. This review seeks to highlight the importance of a philosophical approach for anthropology, in order to initiate a genuine decolonization of knowledge. Beyond critiquing the persistence of colonial backworlds in the shadow of the world of nature anthropology, Mohamed Amer Meziane’s work invites the reader to pay attention to the edge of worlds, from Sufi tradition to psychoanalysis, in a genuinely political gesture.
