Legal Responsibility on Account of Medical Imagery
By Didier Truchet
English
Legal responsibility (or legal responsibilities) regarding medical imaging does not differ greatly from medical and hospital liability in general. Although the procedural rules are complex, it is based on simple principles. A specialist can only be condemned for a fault, that is to say for a breach of one of his obligations. However, to assess such fault is a delicate matter, highly dependent on circumstances: the idea that stands out among the studied jurisprudence is that although the practitioner is not asked to see the invisible, he is obliged to report what he saw with great precision and clearly indicate what he was not able to see or see very well.
