Medical Imagery Put to the Test of Psychoanalysis

This article derives from a joint research project on the psychoanalytic clinic of the body (Cf. P.-L. Assoun, Corps et symptôme, Leçons de psychanalyse, 3e éd., 2008) and the connections between the body, science and the social bond (Cf. P.-L. Assoun, Freud et les sciences sociales, 2e éd., Armand Colin, 2008), developed as part of the Research Master's program “Clinic of the body and psychoanalytic anthropology” we direct at the University Paris 7 Diderot.
