When Zeus Plays Dice, He Always Wins
By Angélique Christaki
English
This texte is a psychoanalytic fairy-tale narrating a misunderstanding about the Greek origin of psychoanalysis. Speaking of which one might wonder what kind of origins are those. Athenian, Spartiatian, Theban? Origin of Hellenistic, Classical, Archaic kind?
Taking as starting point a basic misunderstanding (the barbaric tongue) we follow the road of lying truth, that leads us to “otherness” (eterotita), which appears as the classic athenian citizen’s barbaric origin.
