In this article, we make a short analysis about the film Antichrist directed by Lars von Trier and exhibited at the Festival de Cannes 2009. More specifically, we consider the itinerary of the character played by Charlotte Gainsbourg since – such as it was built – it clearly illustrates the onset of psychosis and the identification resulting from delusional ideas concerning female nature at this character. We use for this purpose the concept of push-to-the-woman developed by Lacan in the 1970’s.
