Children's Play as a Reading and Figuration of the Invisible
Theoretical Considerations

This article analyzes the function of the figure in children’s drawings and play during clinical sessions, taking into account the signifying value of these images. Based on the psychoanalytic perspective, primarily Freudian and Lacanian, but also drawing on other disciplines such as linguistics and philosophy, the author would like to raise the question of the readability of these images in relation to the figurative processes employed by the child.
