This article sets out to approach the question of writing with reference to the notion of ravage. The work of authors from Marguerite Duras to Marcela Iacub invites us to pose the question of the writing of ravage and its failures. How is the treatment of the body and its jouissance summoned in a woman’s relationship with the question of femininity? Can ravage be treated with writing? Can it be turned into writing? And can one deduce from these works some link between femininity and writing?
