English

The phenomenon of "the disappeared" in Argentina is a manifestation of discontent in culture-observed phenomena in the resurgence of deniers. The term "disappeared" is an example of understatement, it is both an index and denier of history. The denial is intended to protect those responsible for crimes and genocide. Our epistemological framework is Psychoanalytical Anthropology, which can take into account the socio-historical variations of the phenomenon (created euphemisms for mass crimes and genocide). Psychoanalysis is a resource for understanding issues raised by history.
